AppMapper wows the crowds at COMMON 2014

After many weeks of preparation for the largest gathering of Power Systems and IT professionals in the world, ESS & 2FootPutt brought their unique approach to rethinking the user interface at this years COMMON in Orlando Florida.
‘I lost count the number of people who stopped by our stand just to say “who are these new guys and what are they offering?”’, explained Tony Cregg who managed the very popular 2FP booth during the show.
‘There was a real buzz around the company name and general booth presentation which made the hard work in the days leading up to the conference all the worth while.
What also came across at the booth, when we started to explain how AppMapper works, was that users immediately connected with the ground-breaking concept of using Excel as the input to their IBM i applications instead of the traditional approach that many of the other vendors offer which is to modernize/re-develop the existing “green-screen” User Interface.

“I thought all the good IT ideas had been taken, but 2FootPutt proved me wrong”.
During the product session at the Conference, there was a USB containing a free version of the AppMapper software to take away – one delegate was so impressed that during the presentation he actually downloaded the software and forwarded back to the office for a colleague to install it and start evaluating!
